Commercial flights start to go green
Virgin Atlantic is the first airline to run a commercial flight overseas fueled partly by recycled waste. The flight left Orlando and landed successfully in Gatwick yesterday, with everything paying close attention to the results.
Although the recycled waste fuel was only the 5% in this first attempt, both tech companies and Virgin Atlantic Airlines assure that it can get up to 50% in the future.
As we can see, the big companies are starting to take action into improving our environment in their specific fields, so, why don't we do it, too?
